How to design a grave marker?

These are some of the areas of concern for families when they decide to order a grave marker for their loved ones grave site.

1. DESIGN

See our granite flat memorials; many designs to mark your grave site for eternity. When choosing a grave marker design consider perhaps some of the hobbies or work the person was involved with. By thinking about these areas you might incorporate it into the actual design therefore personalizing the grave marker to the individual.

2. COLOR

Select a stone color; Black, Oxford Gray or Custom Color Upgrade II or III (see pricing)n the past the most traditional color of granite chosen was black granite. Today, however with such a vast selection of granite colors available the family has many options of colors to choose from.

3. TEXT STYLE

Pick a text style. This will convey either a masculine or feminine look. The type of font that one chooses, (eg; roman, arial italic, chauncery)can really make a granite grave marker really stand out. Most time we would suggest two different types of fonts to give it the contrast desired.

4. EMBLEMS

Choose emblems and/or separators between numbers and/or text. Emblems can be anything from fraternal, religious, to hobbies that speak out about the individual.

5. PHOTOS

See our selection of ceramic photos or provide your own personal photo. Photos can be made in heart, oval or rectangular shape. Photos are a way of letting family or friends remember their loved ones face.
